About
Choreographic Turn is an approach to contemporary dance work(s) that provides contemporary dance makers of different profiles with a synergy of diverse elements of the dance production system. Its aim is the re-professionalization of contemporary dance in Ljubljana, the possibility for continuity and quality in creation in all its workin phases, and the development of artistic, production and discursive competences. Each Choreographic Turn is created by a group of dance curators and presents to the public what the field assesses and recognises as essential dance content. The word ‘turn’ ha both a production and a re-directional meaning, in order to underline that production in the field of art always combines both.Choreographic Turn was made with financial support of Ministry of
